Lindsay Community Food Market
The Lindsay Community Food Market (LCFM) is a non-traditional food bank owned and operated by Kawartha Lakes Food Source. We emphasize the importance of choice and self-sufficiency to support individuals and families as they work towards strengthening their future. This food bank operates in a way that mirrors a grocery store and is located off-site from Kawartha Lakes Food Source.
LCFM is located at 86 Russell St W in Lindsay and is accessible through the entrance on Sussex St.
APPOINTMENT STYLES
LCFM offers two different appointment styles:
Fifteen-minute, in-person shopping where clients can choose their own items and are guided through the process by a staff member or volunteer.
On Tuesdays and Thursday only, we offer a pick-up service with pre-packed hampers made for you, containing items based on your requests and instructions. Clients will book a time for pick-up and will be met at LCFM by a staff member or volunteer.
HOURS OF OPERATION:
Monday: 1:30-3:30 PM
Tuesday: 11:00-12:00 PM and 1:30-3:30 PM
Thursday: 11:00-12:00 PM and 1:30-3:30 PM
