It truly is the local community support that makes the largest impact. Without this, Kawartha Lakes Food Source (KLFS) would not be able to support those who do not have enough.
Kawartha Lakes Food Source relies on donations from: individuals; businesses and their owners and staff; service clubs and their membership; and churches and their congregations.
We would like to recognize both a local business and our local donors.
Burns Bulk Food has been a staple downtown business that supports our local economy through employment, supports community events through sponsorship, and has been a family owned and operated business since 1985.
To show our appreciation to our donors and to thank them for sharing the gift of a donation, Kawartha Lakes Food Source is proud to announce that Burns Bulk Food is our very first Food Supporter. “We always want to give back to our community and this is a unique way to thank those who support others.” Dan Burns, Owner.
Kawartha Lakes Food Source would like to thank Dan Burns, family and staff for your support in recognizing those who help those who do not have enough. When you shop and show your card on Wednesdays, you will receive 10% off your purchase.
“It is easy to get a 2018 Food Partner card! Just make a donation to Kawartha Lakes Food Source!” Dennis Geelen, Chair, Kawartha Lakes Food Source Board of Directors. “If you are a current donor, you should have received one in February. Any new donors will receive them in your thank you letter.”
If you are a donor of KLFS and do not have a card, please contact the office and we would be happy to provide, or replace, your card.
Donations can be made online at www.kawarthalakesfoodsource.com, by cash, credit or debit by coming into the distribution centre located at 41 George Street West Monday and Friday between 8:30 am – 4:30 pm or mail a cheque to Box 123, Lindsay K9V 4R8.
