No garden? No problem! The Good Food Box program aims to improve access to affordable, fresh and healthy food for citizens of the City of Kawartha Lakes. Each month, anyone can purchase a Good Food Box, which showcases seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables.
A large box (or bag) bursting with flavour and nutrition costs just $25 each (or $20 for partners/members) and comes with healthy recipe ideas and community resources.
Pre-payment is required by the second Tuesday of the month.
Pick up is available in Lindsay on the third Tuesday of the month at Community Care, 21 Angeline St N, Lindsay.
If you are unable to pick up your box on the day of pick up, please call us by 3 pm on the day of pick up. If we do not hear from you, we will donate your Good Food Box and you will have to re-order. We are unable to store the box for you and we are unable to transfer your payment once the order has been fulfilled. We will not be making reminder phone calls.
