The Kawartha Lakes Food Source is excited to present a Yuk Yuk’s Comedy Event headlining Adrienne Fish and Martha Chaves.

Adrienne Fish has been making her mark on Canada’s comedy scene. Based out of Toronto, Adrienne recently recorded her second nationally aired TV taping, has appeared on CBC’s The Debaters, and was nominated by NOW Magazine as Toronto’s Best Female Stand-up.

Martha Chaves is a busy comic.  With her infectious and candid style, she has captivated audiences worldwide!  She is a veteran of multiple Montreal’s Just for Laughs Festival, and the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, she has performed for Peacekeeping Troops overseas, and to the The Nobel Women’s Initiative, a delegation of women led by Nobel Peace Prize winners (in Mexico, Honduras, and Guatemala).

Her TV credits include two national comedy specials: COMICS! on CBC, and Something About Martha on CTV and The Comedy Network.  Martha is also a regular on CBC Radio’s “Laugh Out Loud,”, “The Debaters,” and “Because News”.

Tickets are $35 (tax included) and all proceeds go to the Kawartha Lakes Food Source.  This is an age of majority event.

Kawartha Lakes Food Source is a not for profit organization that has been serving the community for 15 years.  We are the distribution centre that procures and stores food from reclamation and donations and supplies it on a “fair share” basis to our nine member food banks within the City of Kawartha Lakes.  We also support twenty-one schools with their breakfast/snack programs.

We rely solely on donations from the community and successful applications to foundations and grants – we do not receive support from any level of government.
